In today’s digital world, securing personal information against identity theft and other types of fraud has become a major global concern. But, now a group of engineers in Britain have come up with an ingenious idea that could revolutionize the field.


Researchers at the Warwick Manufacturing Group have developed a new way of embedding data into plastic. With this new method, a credit card holder’s data will no longer be stored on a chip; instead, the data is put into the plastic itself. The technology could also be used to embed mobile phone cases with personal information, raising the level of costumer data security.
