These were the cautionary words of Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas earlier today - speaking as the first PLO delegation arrived in Gaza for unity talks with their rivals Hamas. These are the latest, but potentially most significance, talks with Hamas, who are considered a terrorist organisation by Israel and some of the international community.

Given the troubled status of the US brokered peace negotiations between Israel and Palestine many will be wondering if alternative strategies are being prepared for the possible failure of the current talks.
